The past is real. Past reality, however, is always viewed and reconstructed from the perspective of the respective present.  
Young documentary filmmakers from the Vienna Film Academy accompany a group of people, descendants of victims and perpetrators, in their common search for the history of the place where they live. In the process, they meet victims and contemporary witnesses.
